For the first time in many years, we have had to make a comprehensive review of our fee scale because of external forces.
The unprecedented increase in PPE regulations and costs due to COVID-19, the consequent rise in clinical waste disposal costs and increased Cross Infection control measures coupled with the nature of COVID-19 requiring that we leave the surgery empty for up to an hour following a fillings procedure before we can clean it down, means the face of dentistry as we knew it has changed for dentistry is much slower.
All of the measures you will notice around the practice are designed to increase and reassure the safety of our patients and staff which has always been very important to us.
To mitigate some of the rises and to increase safety, where possible we will be trying to reduce the number of appointments for a course of treatment by making the appointments longer if indicated and appropriate so more can be done at a single visit.
